EPSOM GIRLS GRAMMAR SCHOOL
ROWING CLUB FUNDRAISER

Welcome! You've arrived here because you've been asked to support the Epsom Girls Grammar School Rowing Club. Here's a little bit about us and why we'd love your support:

Our club has a strong and proud history. We have produced champion rowers such as Kayla Pratt (Gold at 2014 World Champs, Bronze at 2013 World Champs) and Lexi Kerr (Gold in Trans-Tasman Cup 2014). Closer to home, we had our most successful National Secondary School Championship regatta (Maadi Cup) in 2017, with 2 gold and 1 silver medal in our 8+ crews.

We aim to be the best girl’s school rowing club in New Zealand.

We have the rowing talent and coaching talent, and a growing pool of rowers for the future, but to take us to the next level of competition we need to invest in new boats.

Fundraising is an important part of generating capital to do this. Because Epsom Girls Grammar School is a large decile 9 school, limited financial support is available to us. As the school rowing club, we have to rely almost entirely on fundraising and sponsorship. This season has presented even more challenges with Covid and another lockdown so we’ve had to explore other options for fundraising.

Salt & Oil are a New Zealand company that make small-batch bath soak and magnesium oils from natural, ethically-sourced ingredients. We have chosen this company for our first fundraiser as the products are not only useful but perfect for gifts, including Christmas. Which is fast approaching!

Here's how you can help:

Every purchase you make will mean a donation of up to 32%* towards our fundraising goal.

What to do now:

1 - Head to the Shop, and choose your items. All gift sets receive only 10% as they are already at reduced prices. The Breast Cancer gift sets do not provide income for our fundraiser. Thank you for your understanding.

2 - In your cart you MUST add code ROWING to be counted towards the fundraising total. Due to Covid restrictions, all orders for this fundraiser must be sent to your own address, rather than being collated by the organiser. Please note that there is free urban shipping for all orders over $65. You could always combine orders with a friend to save on postage too. If you want to save on rural delivery costs, if your order is over $100, you can collect from Valley Road, Mt Eden (contactless pick up of course) at the end of the fortnight.

2b - The fundraiser officially starts on Saturday 16th October, and finishes a fortnight later, Saturday 30th October.  Only orders during this time will contribute to our fundraising so please get in quick!

3 - Once we reach the first sales tier, there is a small prize for the "Biggest Fundraiser". If you'd like us to know the name of the individual fundraiser you're supporting, please add it to the notes section too, so they can be in to win.

4 - If  you'd like to support our fundraiser further, please consider sharing this page with your friends and family on social media etc. You don't have to do any paperwork or collating of orders; it's all done individually online.

Thank you so much for your support.

* For total orders of under $1000, we get 20% cashback. For orders over $1001 this rises to 32%.
